You know who is beautiful in your life. Is it someone, or a pet? My heart in painting a portrait is to bring a smile to your face as you relive in your mind a special moment you experienced with this loved one. Looking at the painting may also bring healing if the dear one is no longer with you.

Commission an Oil Portrait

How it works

  1. Fill out the form below to let me know what you want me to paint.
  2. I will fill out, and sign the Commission Agreement.
  3. Please review, fill out, and sign the Commission Agreement.
  4. After signing the Commission Agreement, 50% of the project cost is due up front for me to begin working. I take Zelle or Paypal.
  5. If you did not upload a photo in the form below, email me the photo you want me to paint from.
  6. For custom oil portraits, I will look at your photo, sketch on a canvas and then paint by layers. Your portrait will be a realistic oil painting with a touch of impressionism. (Note: I also paint on wide artist birch wood panels.)

Before finishing the painting, I will email you a photo of the painting for your approval. If needed, I will make up to 2 minor changes. The package will be insured and sent via USPS. I will send you an email with the tracking number. When you receive it, the wide panel or canvas will be ready to hang.

It depends on the size and difficulty. It may take from 1 to 7 weeks.
