Do you remember the handful of TV Stations broadcasting only at certain hours of the day, and then, the picture changed to color bars and a tone…! I do! Every week our family would be sitting around the TV and laugh so hard watching the latest episode of the Muppet Show.

I hope these nostalgia paintings make you smile and bring back good memories of your own childhood. I take my inspiration from old family photos, and if you have one that brings back happy memories, I will enjoy the opportunity to paint it for you!

How it works

  1. Fill out the form below to let me know what you want me to paint.
  2. I will fill out, and sign the Commission Agreement.
  3. Please review, fill out, and sign the Commission Agreement.
  4. After signing the Commission Agreement, 50% of the project cost is due up front for me to begin working. I take Zelle or Paypal.
  5. If you did not upload a photo in the form below, email me the photo you want me to paint from.
  6. For custom oil paintings, I will look at your photo, sketch on a birch wood panel, and then paint by layers. Your painting will be a realistic oil painting with a touch of impressionism.

I will email you a photo of the finished painting. Note: in painting on silk, making some changes are sometimes possible and sometimes they are not. If changes are needed, I will let you know if they can be done. The package will be insured and sent via USPS. I will send you an email with the tracking number. When you receive it, the wide panel or canvas will be ready to hang.

It depends on the size and difficulty. It may take from 1 to 7 weeks.
